Although we will discuss the objectives of the political and security systems in greater depth during the third round of debate, we would like each participant to indicate to what degree each one of the following objectives can be shared by all the participants:

01. To design new structures of public governability, ones which are best suited for the 21st century and are capable of generating harmony among different interests and causes.

02. To promote a participatory democracy that becomes increasingly more direct and that surpasses the conventional and insufficient forms of an indirect representative democracy.

03. We should not underestimate the positive behaviors and actions of individuals and small groups, for if these strategies are generalized and establish themselves as social paradigms - as extended norms of behavior - they may eventually obtain a significant global impact.

04. To reform our institutions and our basic social organization in order to offer more equitable opportunities for all, without exclusions, so that an important proportion of the population can have a good quality of life. Introduce structural reforms, to improve social indicators and to diminish undesired deviations.

05. To particularly strengthen the income sources of States and International Agencies, which will also mean deep operating reforms on the fiscal and contributions-quota membership systems, as well as the creation of alternative financing possibilities.

06. The confirmation that no social responsibility is greater and that no task should be as intense as that of building peace within our planet on sustainable foundations. The global effort towards peace and reconciliation can only be successful with a collective focus built on the basis of confidence, dialogue and collaboration.

07. To recognize that women have a great role to play in the promotion of the culture of peace, particularly in societies torn by conflicts, for they can carry peace and a lasting reconciliation. Unless the culture of peace places women in control, long-term solutions will be difficult to achieve. Women have shown time and again that it is they who often promote the culture of peace via the reaching out of hands through divisions and encouraging others to do the same.

08. To consider the education towards peace in all regions and countries of the world as an essential element. In order to efficiently face the challenges presented by the complexities of our time, the youth of today are entitled to a radically different education, one "that does not glorify war but educates for peace, nonviolence and international cooperation."  All educational institutions should prepare students to be productive and responsible citizens of the world.

09. To obtain full recognition of peace as a human right by the Human Rights Council and by the General Assembly of the United Nations.

10. To favor re-nationalization as the first step toward a new socialism, intensifying the democratic process, and with a transition of decision-making from the capital towards workers and society in general.

11. To reorganize the international equilibrium, with the South generating initiatives that are independent of the current imperialist force (such as the Group of Shangai, the Southern Bank, etc.). In  such a wayhat would grant greater weight to the South and empower its participation in global decision-making. All of this should be achieved with the democratic support of societies of the north and be dissociated from capital.

12. Gender as a means for social distribution of power. The existing gender power order must be transformed.

13. Reaching the fundamental moral, and hence political, equal worth of all persons, and their consequent equal right to a meaningful participation in all collective decisions - a world-system relatively democratic and relatively egalitarian.

14. It is necessary to affirm the secular character of the State, as a base for philosophical and spiritual dialogue.

15. Ensure that States are held fully accountable for commitments made and actions undertaken.

16. We must attempt to renew the political field of the left with the collaboration of various political organisations, for it is no more possible to think of a unique party as having the whole truth.

17. Fight and prevent corruption. States, international agencies and all economic and social organizations are obliged to take measures to fight and prevent corruption, to report on current situations with transparency to their citizens and to take measures to prevent future corruption.

General comments
Fighting corruption and seeking secular character of the states are tangible demands that we can realistically achieve. There some other important points to take note of, but those are somehow we can certainly dreamt of, but seems to me like a lighthouse that can be seen but may not be reached.
