1. We consider essential to for democracy the respect for cultural diversity and pluralism in the media, so that they reflect the social, cultural and political world we live in. If this plurality of views is followed, understanding between peoples and cultures of peace will be promoted.

6. We believe that at the core of our diverse peoples are practices based on the cult of the cycles of life – that can be observed in gifts, sharing, mortification, transcendence, etc. – as a condition to achieve the sensitivity, equity and the fair share and exchange from relations between humans and nature. These practices are the product of necessity and effort, as well as love and generosity. Lets relearn Bertolt Brecht, who knew how to combine recreation with education: let us update his estrangement or “de-familiarisation” technique, to suspend the spellbound and after rescuing attention, increase awareness.

We believe that co-existence & cooperation is the axioms of life, because the world consists of miscellaneous peoples ( races, ethnicities, languages, religions....ect.), but they share in values, ideals and heritage. The whole world is moving towards sustainable development which will ensure a decent living and peaceful life for all.

Many cultures had been destroyed before the world realized their true values. Before effective mesures could be taken to protect the remaining cultures, more would go on the same way towards extinction. It is urgent to change the current market oriented world model, to give enough attention to cultural issues, to preserve the remaining diversification of culture, before too late.
