I have heard of a number of anti-globalization campaigns but most such campaigns do not speak about what the alternative looks like. I see this as a positive campaign that proposes an alternative to globalization. I don't feel this action is really constructive, to me is yet another reformist/protest action, which have much less impact than building and organizing a new socioeconòmic system. There's a lot of people looking for a escape route, the will is there, the infrastructure is what's missing.

I'm glad you ask. Of course it's tragic, of course something should be done upon, my point is that by this action we are attacking the _consequences_ of the socioeconomic system and, yet again, the urgent stuff would prevent doing what's important, which is to build up a _new_ socioeconomic system without structural poverty, imperialism and 'development'. So, I will always prioritize constructive and that look for an integral society transformation to actions that look to desperate attempts to slow down the natural course of capitalism. Solve the problem at the root instead of (or in addition to) getting involved in 1000 reformist individual fights.

I also went to India and spent ti;e with the Ekta Parishad mouvement. They are the most formidable organisation I have ever come across (and I am the Director of an NGO working on tobacco control and work internationally so am used to see different projects). They deserve all the support they can get. I disagree with the previous comments. The movements is clear and make very concrete proposals both at the personal, regional, national and even international level. I support them fully.

Even after six decades of Independence the situation of the tribals living in forest or in the valley did not alter. The forest which is mother to the tribals has been taken away from them. Rigid forest laws have reduced accessibility of the tribals to the forest, the tough laws have made it difficult to collect fire woods and other things of basic necessity like gum,resins, leaves, flowers, honey etc from the forest. I wonder whether planners know that in their country there are some tribes who have not crossed the stage of food gatherers. The forest dwellers have the right to stay in a forest.

The Jansatyagraha 2012 will certainly contribute to the rule of law in India because it constitutes a nonviolent alternative to the armed struggle around land which the maoist naxalites are proclaiming in the tribal belt of India. Vivo en un país donde Agbar actuó en conseción de nuestra empresa pública OSE. La verdad que la experiencia fué muy mala para el país, para la empresa pública y para la población principalmente los trabajadores que sufrieron mucho las exclusiones a las sindicalizados. Agbar se fue expulsada de Uruguay en 2005 producto de un plebiscito nacional donde la ciudadanía votó en un 67% para que el agua volviera a manos pública. Com a proposta està bé, però si ha de ser una acció "Comuna i Transformadora" li falta encara més abast. La qüestió actual és que les grans elits econòmiques i financeres (el que anomenen "els mercats") dominen el món i estan per damunt de la democràcia (en especial a Europa, que per les seves institucions i model d'organització és encara més deficitària en aquest aspecte). Es podria vincular també a una ILP per a l'implantació d'una Taxa Tobin, ni que incialment fos només a nivell de l'estat espanyol, una taxa als dipòsits bancaris, i sobretot sobretot: un sistema impositiu (i una legislació al respecte) més progressiu que gravi realment les grans fortunes, i que permeti una lluita clara i decidida contra el frau fiscal. En aquest sentit s'hi podrien afegir moltes altres iniciatives i plataformes que estan treballant en aquests àmbits. Amb això es podrien aconseguir molts més recursos per a l'Estat,que passaria a no córrer tant perill d'intervenció, i que s'haurien d'invertir en educació, salut, infraestructures intel·ligents, I+D verda i amb criteris socials, i al foment de la petita i mitjana empresa i l'emprenedoria social (com a eines de creació d'ocupació digna). Lògicament, tot això hauria d'anar acompanyat d'una major transparència en la gestió pública i d'eines de participació ciutadana en la política (possibilitat de convocatòria de referèndums populars vinculants, a l'estil de Suïssa).

En CASTELLANO: Como propuesta está bien, pero si tiene que ser una acción "Común y Transformadora" le falta todavía más alcance. La cuestión actual es que las grandes élites económicas y financieras (lo que denominan "los mercados") dominan el mundo y están por encima de la democracia (en especial en Europa, que por sus instituciones y modelo de organización es todavía más deficitaria en este aspecto). Se podría vincular también a una ILP para la implantación de una Tasa Tobin -ni que incialmente fuera sólo a nivel del estado español-, así como también añadir-lo a una tasa a los depósitos bancarios, y sobre todo sobre todo: un sistema impositivo (y una legislación al respeto) más progresivo que grabe realmente las grandes fortunas, y que permita una lucha clara y decidida contra el fraude fiscal. En este sentido se podrían añadir otras muchas iniciativas y plataformas que están trabajando en estos ámbitos. Con esto se podrían conseguir muchos más recursos para el Estado/s,que pasaría/n a no correr tanto peligro de intervención, y que se tendrían que invertir en educación, salud, infraestructuras inteligentes, I+D verde y con criterios sociales, y al fomento de la pequeña y mediana empresa y la emprendeduría social (como herramientas de creación de empleo digno). Lógicamente, todo esto tendría que ir acompañado de una mayor transparencia en la gestión pública y de herramientas de participación ciudadana en la política (por ejemplo: posibilidad de convocatoria de referéndums populares vinculantes, al estilo de Suiza).

In ENGLISH: As a proposal it's good, but if it has to be a "Common and Transformative Action" it is lacking a broader scope. The current key question is that the big economic and financial elites (what they call "the markets") dominate the world and are even above democracy (in special in Europe, as because of its institutions and model of organisation it even lacks more democratic rights). This proposal could also be linked to a Popular or Citizen's Initiative to implement by law the Tobin Tax, even if that was initially only at a national level (in our case, Spanish level), but could also be linked to a tax to the banking deposits, and especially especially: a much more progressive tax system (and a legislation to endorse it) that really taxed and charged the big fortunes, and that could allow a clear and decided fight against fiscal fraud. In this sense the proposal could also be linked to many other initiatives and platforms that are working in these fields. With this changes, the government/s could get much more resources, which would move them away from the danger of intervention by financial institutions. And this increase in public resources should be invested in education, health, intelligent infrastructures, green R+D with social criteria, and to the promotion of social small and medium enterprises aswell as social entrepreneurs (as tools of creation of decent employment). Logically, all this would have to go together with a greater transparency in the public management and with tools of citizen participation in political decisions (possibility of proposing popular binding referendums, similar to what happens in Switzerland).

Esta sería perfecta si no la hubieran planteado para un sólo día. En una vez no va a tener demasiado efecto, pero si se hace algo repetido mensualmente, por ejemplo, para que poco a poco se vaya difundiendo (estilo masa crítica), puede ser súper eficaz.

Una buena iniciativa para fomentar y facilitar la articulacion de los colectivos a escala global... si el sistema capitalista ataca globalmente que nuestras respuestas tambien lo sean. Necesitamos mas pronto que tarde, comenzar a sentar las bases de otro posible mundo o mundos, hoy y ahora. Gradualmente comenzar una transicion y para eso es necesario que los sin voz de todo el mundo comienzen a escucharse.. mal que bien, internet puede ser util para ese fin. Pero la batalla tambien se libra en estos terrenos, as ahora que el mundo se percato de la potencialidad cincientizadora puede significar internet... pero no a todos les cominviene eso, y ya estan comenzando a buscar restringir y controlar estos espacios. A defenderlos pues, como cualquier otro de nuestros territorios. Tambien aqui, resistiendo desde Argentina.

Entendiendo que la "Acción Comuna Transformadora" está pensada para llevarse a cabo en un ámbito global, parece que estas propuestas no están del todo pensadas para atajar problemas "globales". No obstante, dada la actual situación de crisis global principalmente causada por la imposición de los intereses especulativos de "los mercados" sobre los intereses de la ciudadanía, cualquier acción que vaya en la línea de denunciar estos hechos y proponer alternativas podría ser muy interesante (ver comentario en la propuesta 6). In ENGLISH: Understanding that the "Commune Transformative Action" is designed to be conducted at a global level, it seems that these proposals are not entirely designed to address "global" problems. However, given the current global crisis mainly caused by the imposition of the speculative interests of "the markets" over the interests of citizens, any action that goes in line with denouncing these facts and proposing alternatives could be very interesting (see comment in the proposal #6). Hope that LOREA gets the ACT, in front of other projects that perhaps don't need it because they're already been supported and financed by several organizations from different countries around the world. 'World change' movements have lots of followers and demostrators, but what is really needed now, the key factor for the future, is the possibility to have tools for free self-managed and direct communication between people also giving support to processes of new life projects generation.

Es necesario construir un espacio libre, para todos, en el que nos podamos relajar como en casa. Un lugar que nos facilite desprendernos de las 'paranoias'. Estoy pensando en un lugar como n-1. Lorea podría hacerlo un poco más asequible a las 'menos intrépidas', un poco más 'intuitivo', le dicen. Yo le llamo 'para torpes', entro las que me incluyo. Todo mi apoyo a Lorea.

Yo queria dar mi apoyo sobre todo a Lorea. Pero entendí que solo se podia dar el "apoyo total" a 4 en vez de a 3. Entonces di mi apoyo a tres más y al llegar a Lorea ví que no podía darle el "apoyo total". Cooperatech, RexSim, Sementeira. Ademas cualquier colectivo que necesite herramientas para el trabajo colectivo podra usarlo, pues claro es software libre!
