Welcome!
This year the UAB is preparing its Plan for Languages, the framework document for language policy for the period 2007-2010. The Plan for Languages represents the culmination of a project that is being carried out in several phases and aims to involve the whole of the university community in its preparation.
You can see descriptions of the different phases and the tasks carried out and forecast for each in more details on the Plan for Languages website. There, you will find both the documentation corresponding to the development process and to the Plan itself (news, working documents and calendar) as well as reference documents (use of languages at the UAB, experiences and language policies from other universities, documents about multi-lingualism, the EEES and language, etc.)
The virtual forum will be open from 14 November to 17 December 2007.
Finally, during the first term of 2008 there will be a seminar to present the Plan for Languages to the university community. This seminar will include the participation of experts from other European universities who will make eminently practical contributions with reference to the development of language policies in their universities.
THANK YOU FOR TAKING PART!
